VLE Information for Parents

1.    Log onto the internet.
2.     In the ‘google’ box type in Sunderland VLE
3.    Click‘Enter VLE’
4.    Type in your child’ s personal username and password.(  this will have been provided to you by school.

Once you are into the site you will presented with a welcome screen, please check that it is your childs name at the top.

How to email:

Once in the welcome screen if someone has sent you mail you will see that you have ‘new messages’.

To email someone

1.    Select email from the top menu bar.
2.    Select ‘new’.
3.    Select find a person.
4.    Place in persons name in the ‘name’ field then select Quarry View Primary in the ‘school’ field..
5.    Select ‘Find’ in the blue button bar below.
6.    If that person has their details on the system then their name will appear below.
7.     Press ‘select’ and their name will appear in the bar.
8.    Continue to write your email and attach documents if you would like to.
9.    then select ‘send’.
10.    Your email should have sent and will be recorded in your ‘sent items’ directory.

How to find information

On your home page you should have a folder that is named ‘Quarry View Primary Information’, if you select this you should find letters and any relevant information that has been uploaded by the school.

How to find homework

On your home page you will see a number of folders, one for each year group.  
1.    Select the year group your child is in.
2.    Select their class.
3.    Then select the homework folder and appropriate homework for that week.
4.    Print off
5.    Your child can now complete their homework.
