“Vive la France” is the topic Year 6 enjoy after SAT’s. Through a variety of fun and informative lessons the children gain an insight into the life and culture of France. They learn how to greet one another, the French alphabet and simple conversational skills.
In Year 5 the children were able to experience French from a native French speaker this summer when a French assistant from one of our feeder schools, Pennywell Comprehensive School came and taught for an hour a week for a term. The children played games and learnt songs without realising they were working!
