Class 10 - PE: Tuesday and Friday

Class 11 - PE: Wednesday and Friday

Please note that this term children chosen to go swimming, will be children who we feel will benefit from more practise.
A 20p contribution towards swimming is required. Girls must wear swimming caps.
PE kit must be worn and earrings and other jewellery must be removed.

Attendance & Punctuality

  • As our curriculum is blocked it is vital that your child attends school.
  • A note/telephone call is required if your child is absent. Failure to do this will result in an unauthorised absence and potential visit from the ESW.
  • Our day begins at 8.55am and the first lesson starts at 9.00am prompt. Lateness results in your child missing vital teaching at the beginning of the session.
  • The school day finishes at 3.00pm. Children become distressed when picked up after this time. Also, teachers have numerous meetings to attend after 3.00pm
  • After School Care is available Monday-Friday from 3.00pm-6.00pm

How to support your child

  • Ensure that they arrive on time wearing appropriate uniform and with PE kit;
  • Put child’s names in everything!
  • Support children with homework, spellings and reading;
  • Supervise your child while they access information using the Internet and Public Library;
  • Show interest in your child’s day by asking questions and encouraging detailed answers.
